- This series of competitions is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, aged 18 and over (ROI residents excluded), with the exception of employees of Nestle UK Ltd, their immediate families, agents or anyone else associated with the administration of this promotion.
- This is an online promotion only.
- Entrants are invited to create a pet out of 4 Matchmakers sticks (one portion size) per pet, to take a digital photo of the finished pet picture, and then upload it to our website in accordance with the instructions on the competition web-page.
- There will be 8 separate judging sessions over the duration of the promotion to decide one winner in each case. The closing dates for receipt of entries are: 05/10/2009; 12/10/2009; 19/10/2009; 26/10/2009; 31/12/2009; 30/06/2010; 31/12/2010 and 30/06/2011.
- From each of the 8 closing dates listed under point 4 above, one prize will be awarded on merit to the entrant whose entry, in the opinion of our independent panel of judges, is deemed to be the most appropriate, creative and unique pet idea submitted during the period leading up to and including the given the closing date.
- Winners will be notified by email within 4 weeks of the competition closing date and will be asked in each case to confirm acceptance of their prize. Proof of age may be required.
- In the case that any prize remains unclaimed after a period of 28 days, the Promoter reserves the right to allocate that prize to the entry judged to be the next best entry submitted against that same closing date.
- The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

- We cannot accept bulk entries from the trade or any third party or consumer group entries.
- You may enter as many competition dates as you like but please note that no one person will win more than one prize.
- We cannot accept responsibility for non-receipt of entries due to network problems or technical difficulties beyond our control. Proof of sending does not constitute proof of delivery.
- Winning entrants’ pet photos will be featured on our website at: www.qualitystreet-matchmakers.co.uk
- Winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
- Winners’ name and county details will be announced on the website and will remain on site to view until 31.12.11.
- The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes, in whole or in part, with alternatives of equal or greater value, if the item(s) were to become unavailable for any reason.
- Entrants’ personal data will only be held for as long as is necessary to complete the administration of this series of competitions, unless they have opted-in to receive further information from Nestle UK Ltd when entering.
- No one person may win more than one prize.
- Entrants may submit up to a maximum of ten different pets for each draw date.

These Content Submission Conditions apply in addition to the website Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy Website Terms & Conditions to which you have agreed to be bound by virtue of your use of Nestle's online services.
You must be 16 or over to submit content. If you are under 18 years of age you confirm that you have the consent of your parent / guardian to use the Website and Your Material in accordance with these Submission Conditions.
Any material you upload to our site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose.
You agree that Nestle has the right to use, copy, distribute, licence, assign and disclose to third parties for any purpose your photo, animation, video clip, sound recording, or other material uploaded by you (your "Material"). This includes butis not limited to use on Matchmakers and Nestle affiliated websites worldwide and on any other media whether now known or known in the future (including without limitation Nestle operated websites (the “Websites”) in perpetuity and gratis. Nestle also has the right to commercially exploit, host, store, copy, distribute, modify, edit, incorporate into other material, and/or otherwise treat in any way your Material at its discretion without any payment to You. In particular, you agree to waive all moral rights to the Material.
You warrant that you are the sole and exclusive creator, author and owner of your Material, and no one else has any right to your Material, including in any underlying copyrights such as music, footage, artwork and other material. You warrant that you have obtained all rights, permissions and licences necessary for Nestle to use your Material as anticipated by these Submission Conditions.
You must ensure that nothing in your Material infringes any trade mark or copyright or otherwise violates anyone's right of privacy or publicity, or contains anything that is defamatory or offensive.
You must ensure that your Material is free from any lien or claim by anyone, including, but not limited to any union, guild or performance rights society.
Nestle reserves the right not to make your Material available on any Website, and the right to remove your Material, or links or any other means of access to your Material, from any Website at Nestle’s discretion at any time.
You agree to indemnify and hold Nestle harmless from any claims, suits, losses (whether foreseeable or not), damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from any breach of these Submission Conditions regarding your Material.
Whenever you make use of a feature that allows you to upload material to our site, or to make contact with other users of our site, you must comply with the content standards set out in our acceptable use policy. You warrant that any such contribution does comply with those standards, and you indemnify us for any breach of that warranty.
Any material you upload to our site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose. We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by you to our site constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.
We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any materials posted by you or any other user of our site.
We have the right to remove any material or posting you make on our site if, in our opinion, such material does not comply with the content standards set out in our acceptable use policy.
VIDEO SUBMISSION CONDITIONS
Terms
* Be seen: When you upload your video to Matchmakers, people will also be able to view it worldwide via our website and your work and photo may make it onto Nestle's other channels and services.
* Be over 16: You have to be 16 or over to take part in Matchmakers.
* Be free: Your submission must be your own work and free from third party copyrights so please don't use other people's images, footage etc (for example don’t use commercial images or sound recordings.
* Be worry-free: You are only licensing your video to us and you will still own your own work.
* Be clean: We can't accept obscene, offensive, libelous material or anything that breaches our best practice guidelines.
* Be sure: You need consent from anyone who features in your work and you can't feature anyone under 16.
* Be happy: By uploading your work, you're agreeing to the Nestle Content Submission rules
